Dr. Shuvendu Prosad Roy is a highly experienced Orthopedic Surgeon and Joint Replacement Specialist with over 22 years of clinical expertise in managing complex bone and joint disorders. He is specialized in robotic joint replacement both Robotic and Manual deformative correction arthposcopy and foot & ankle reconstruction, with a strong interest in diabetic foot disease prevention.
He completed his MS in Orthopaedics from PGIMER, Chandigarh, one of India’s premier medical institutes, and underwent advanced joint replacement training at Sir Ganga Ram Hospital and Indraprastha Apollo Hospital, Delhi. He has performed more than 1000 knee and hip joint replacement surgeries as Assistant and Primary Surgeon. He is Specialized in Preventive Diabetic and Foot Care, with a focus on diabetic foot ulcer and infection prevention..
Dr. Roy further enhanced his expertise with a one year exhausted Fellowship programme in Joint Replacement & Reconstruction (Hip, Knee, Foot and Ankle) and Arthroscopy from National University Hospital, Singapore. His clinical focus includes deformative correction and joint preservation, robotic joint replacement, minimally invasive foot surgeries, sports injury management, and comprehensive musculoskeletal pain care.
